Blackson's Martial Arts has been open since May 2003, taking the school over from Sensei Jim Berry and Sensei Marshall Berry, and changing from Shotokan to Okinawa Kenpo. We have classes Monday thru Friday, 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, and Saturday 9 am to 8pm. Self-defense instruction is included in the Karate classes, and we offer separate Self-Defense classes on Saturday. In our Lil' Dragon program for 4-6 year olds, we teach Life Skills and Safety Skills, in addition to Karate basics.

Sensei Mark was introduced to Karate in 1982 after joining the Marine Corp. He started training with Sensei Kenneth Funakoshi in Hawaii in the Shotokan style, then trained with Sensei Paul Ortino Jr. in the Okinawa Kenpo Kobudo Karate Federation (OKKKF).
